Introduction

Deposit and withdrawal statuses show where a wallet operation is in its lifecycle. Use the Wallet history tabs and the transaction receipt to distinguish an operation that is still processing from one that needs a new submission.

Deposit statuses

A crypto deposit can be pending or detected before it is credited or confirmed. M-Pesa deposits are checked until they become Completed or Failed. A completed record should be followed by a refreshed balance and ledger entry.

Withdrawal statuses

Crypto withdrawals can move through approval, signing, signed, broadcasted, and confirmed stages. M-Pesa withdrawals are polled until Completed or Failed. Withdrawals show the destination, receipt or transaction hash, amount, and status in history.

When a transaction is pending

  1. Open Wallet and select Deposits or Withdrawals.
  2. Find the matching asset, network, amount, and date.
  3. Keep the receipt or transaction hash for reference.
  4. Refresh the history after the operation reaches a final status.
  5. Do not submit a duplicate operation while the first one is still processing.

Failed or rejected operations

Read the failure reason shown in the record, confirm your available balance and destination details, then correct the issue before trying again. A failed M-Pesa withdrawal returns funds to the wallet according to the withdrawal flow; confirm the balance and ledger after the final status.

Keep the transaction receipt or hash until the final status and balance update are visible in Wallet.
