Introduction

Buying USDT through P2P means choosing a seller's offer, paying in the listed fiat currency, and receiving USDT after the seller confirms your payment. The trade room keeps the order details and escrow status together while the payment is completed.

Before you start

  • Use your real account. Demo balances are not eligible for P2P.
  • Have the seller's payment method available to you.
  • Make sure your payment name and reference match the seller's instructions.
  • Keep enough time to complete the payment window.

Choose an offer

In the P2P marketplace, choose Buy and filter by fiat currency, country, payment method, and amount. Compare the price, minimum and maximum limits, available amount, and merchant terms before opening an offer.

The amount you enter determines the fiat payment and the USDT amount shown in the order. Review both values before confirming.

Pay and confirm

  1. Open the offer and review the seller and payment account.
  2. Confirm the order to lock the seller's USDT in escrow.
  3. Send the exact fiat amount using the displayed payment details.
  4. Return to the trade room and mark the payment as sent.
  5. Wait for the seller to verify the payment and release the USDT.

The USDT is not released just because you sent a payment. Keep your receipt until the trade reaches Released.

After release

Released USDT moves into your available P2P wallet. From there, you can keep it for another P2P trade or transfer available funds back to your real trading account. Escrowed balances are excluded from the transfer amount until the order is complete.

Never mark a payment as sent before you have completed the transfer. A payment confirmation is an instruction for the seller to review, not a substitute for sending the money.

Frequently asked questions

When do I receive the USDT?
The USDT moves to your available P2P wallet after the seller confirms that the fiat payment arrived and releases escrow.
Should I mark payment as sent before paying?
No. Mark payment as sent only after the exact fiat transfer is complete.
